Follow the link for a short article on a learning environment  designed by Apple.  It looks so inviting, I could be tempted to spend significant amounts of time there – despite the apparent lack of windows.

I’m particularly intrigued by the ideas of having learning “bars” at different difficulty levels.  And the teacher or consultant can pretend to be an expert chess master hanging out in the middle of each station.

Since we have the opportunity here at Grinnell to build some experimental classrooms and lab spaces, I hope we can take a page from this team of designers!
